Terms and Conditions
- The promoter of the Competition is Ackermans, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd and Spur
Steak Ranches ("the Promoter").
- The name of the Competition is the “design a tee” Competition ("the Competition").
- The Competition will run from 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025, both days included ("the Competition Period").
- By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The Competition prize is one (1) of two (2)
- Ackermans virtual vouchers to the value R15 000 each.
- Spur Steak Ranches vouchers to the value of R15 000 each
- Cash prizes of R20 000 each. (“the Prize”).
- Ackermans virtual vouchers to the value R15 000 each.
- The Competition is open to all participants within the Republic of South Africa. You are not eligible to participate in this Competition if: -
- You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition.
- You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified above.
- You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition.
- To enter the Competition and stand a chance to win, participants will need to do the following:
- Get the colouring in page at any Spur Steak Ranches or Ackermans store in RSA.
- Design a tee using the template on the colouring page.
- Upload a picture of your design on www.ackermans.co.za/pages/design-a-tee.
- Get the colouring in page at any Spur Steak Ranches or Ackermans store in RSA.
- All entries will be automatically entered into a lucky draw to stand a chance to win 1 of 5 weekly vouchers (R250 Ackermans and R250 Spur).
- Entry into the Competition is free, and participants may enter only once during the Competition Period.
- All entries are to be designed free hand. The use of any design tools will result in the entry being invalid.
- Competition is open to entrants 12 years and younger.
- Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information by robotic, automated or like means.
- All prizes in this Competition are not transferable.
- The voucher prizes will be sent via SMS directly to the winner, using the contact number provided when entering the competition.
- The cash prize will be deposited into the valid and verified SA bank account provided by winners when contacted.
- The draw for the winners will take place on 15 May 2025. The winners will be chosen by a panel of Spur Steak Ranches and Ackermans representatives.
- The weekly winners will be drawn every Monday from the 1 April 2025 to 5 May 2025.
- The winners will be contacted between 10am and 3pm on the day of the draw to arrange for delivery. An alternative winner will be drawn if after 2 days from the date of announcing the winners they have not contacted us with their contact details. The winner gives Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches and its authorized agents consent to use their name for publicity purposes, unless refused.
- Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against Ackermans or Spur Steak Ranches and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches
- Your privacy is very important to Ackermans, the Pepkor group of companies and Spur Steak Ranches and it will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by you, or which is collected from you, is stored in a secure manner. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Statement.
- You agree to provide Pepkor and Spur Group with accurate and current information and to maintain and update such information when necessary. The information collected by Pepkor and Spur Group may be used to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in the Pepkor and Spur Group that may be of interest or value to you. The information may also be processed by Ackermans and other companies in the Pepkor group, as well as Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group and any of their operators, agents and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential.
- You acknowledge that any information supplied to Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies, Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group in terms of these Terms and Conditions is provided voluntarily.
- By submitting any information to Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies and Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group in any form you further acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies and Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from you, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.
- Unless you have consented, Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies and Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about you (such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) to other parties and you indemnify Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies and Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorized persons.
- Should you believe that Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies and Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group has utilised your personal information contrary to applicable law, you shall first resolve any concerns with Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies or Spur Steak Ranches and Spur Group. If you are not satisfied with such a process, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
- You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches in writing or by registering a block on any registry which Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches is bound by law to recognise. Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. Ackermans and/or Spur Steak Ranches will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
